About Red Beans & Rice Children’s Boutique As a young child, I would find myself in the infant section of department stores admiring how “cute” the clothes were.  My admiration of children’s clothing never diminished.  In early 1990 I began designing children’s clothing and selling them at Eastern Market, children’s stores in the area and through a mail order catalog. I always dreamed of opening a children’s clothing store and in 2004 Red Beans and Rice Children's Boutique was born. Our goal at Red Beans & Rice is to offer quality children’s clothing at affordable prices.  Children’s clothing can be so cute that you want to buy everything in the store.  Well at Red Beans & Rice you can without taking out a loan.   “We keep the cost of growing UP….DOWN!!” Our beautifully decorated boutique offers exceptional items (both new & consigned) for infants and children.  All of our clothing is new with tags or very slightly used. The store also carries new gift items, toys and books.  We feature new brands such as Mulberri Bush, Zutano, Flap Happy, eeboo, Mudpuppy Press, Fun Bath and Robeez, to name a few.  On the consignment side we have brand name items from all the popular children’s stores as well as major designers such as Ralph Lauren, Janie & Jack, DKNY, Hanna Anderson & Lily Pulitzer.
